ATV Bourgas - PH Quads
"Experience the Thrill"

Q: What is the minimum age for participants?

A: The minimum recommended age is 11 years old, at this age the majority of children should be able to handle the ATV/quad bike confidently.  Anyone under the age of 16 years must be signed for by a parent or guardian.

Q: How much does it cost?
A:
Our popular 2 hour safari costs 60 lv per person.  If you want less or more than 2 hours please let us know, we'll then look at what dates are available and give you a price.

Q: How do I pay?
A:
You pay in Bulgarian lev at the start of your safari.

Q: How long will I be on a quad bike?
A:
This will depend on the session booked but for each one expect the safety briefing and training to last about 20 minutes.  So for a 2 hour safari you should have about 1hr.40min riding the quad bike.

Q: I've never been on a quad bike before - is that a problem?

A: Not at all. All our sessions start with a briefing by an experienced instructor, followed by some practice circuits where you will be shown how to handle the quad bikes. If you have any concerns, please ask us in advance or tell your instructor on the day.

Q: Do I need a driving licence?
A:
No - our sessions are not run on public roads so this is not necessary.

Q: What if I have a medical condition?
A:
If you suffer from a medical condition such as epilepsy, back pain or injury or are pregnant, or if you are taking prescription drugs with side effects that may impair your reactions, you must notify us. If any of the above apply we recommend seeking medical advice from your Doctor before taking part.

Q: When do you run the quad biking safari's?
A:
We run our quad biking safari's all year round (weather permitting).

Q: How do I know you can fit me in?
A: You should book in advance to guarantee a place.

Q: What do I wear?
A:
It's best to wear clothing that you are not worried about getting dirty.  In the summer it might be hot but it's still advisable to keep your arms and legs covered, so a long-sleeved t-shirt and tracksuit bottoms (or something similar) are ideal. In the winter it can be cold so warm outer clothing and gloves are necessary.  In wet weather it can be muddy (that's part of the fun!) so you may want to bring a change of clothes if you have travelled by car.  You must wear proper footwear at all times - no sandals or flipflops!

Q: What about helmets, etc?
A:
We provide helmets, which must be worn whenever you are on the quad bike. If you have your own helmet you can bring it along if you prefer.

Q: Do I need to bring anything with me?
A:
No, but please see 'what do I wear?' above.

Q: What about refreshments?
A:
We provide you with non alcoholic drinks during the safari's.

Q: What happens if the weather is poor?
A:
We still run sessions as long as the weather is not so severe as to pose a risk and check the weather forecast daily.  When we take your booking we will ask for a contact number and will call you on the morning of your safari if there is a weather problem.  If that happens we will re-arrange a booking for another date, that is suitable for you.

Q: What happens if I book and then find I need to cancel?
A:
We understand that sometimes this might be necessary.  However we ask that you give us as much notice as possible so we can offer your place to someone else.

Q: Can I bring my own quad bike?
A:
No, for insurance purposes all of our sessions are instructor led and we only allow the use of our own ATVs/quad bikes.
